Our Founder

Herbert J. Larmann, a native Cincinnatian, has excelled in the financial services industry.  Herb's background in law, finance and insurance has enhanced the ability of Larmann Financial to care for its clients.  Over the years, his practice concentrated on business planning, i.e., business succession plans, employee benefit plans and retirement plans for 200 companies in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Throughout his career, he distinguished himself by qualifying for and being awarded top honors by several insurance companies and various industry organizations.  Herb used his professional skills to serve on the boards of Coldstream Country Club, St. Ursula Academy, St. Xavier High School and church organizations.

After graduating from St. Xavier High School, The University of Cincinnati (B.A., 1953) and the University of Cincinnati College of Law (1955), he served in the United States Air Force.  At the time of his discharge, Herb had attained the rank of Captain.

Herb has always had a passion for aviation.  He could fly a plane before he could drive a car.  He is a member of Quiet Birdman and is always ready to fly.  He also enjoys golf and travel.
