Herbert J. Larmann was born on December 28, 1929, to immigrant parents and named after President Herbert Hoover as a tribute to their new country. From a young age, Herb was passionate about aviation, obtaining his pilot's license before he could drive a car. He later pursued degrees in marketing, economics, and law from the University of Cincinnati. Herb served in the U.S. Air Force as a Judge Advocate General and, after his service, transitioned to a successful career in the insurance industry, eventually founding Larmann Financial Corporation. He was a member of prestigious groups like the Million Dollar Round Table and shared his expertise through lectures and speaking engagements. Herb's love for flying continued throughout his life, renewing his pilot's license at 65 and purchasing his own plane. He was known for his tenacity, strong beliefs, and dedication to his family.
